NOA18NUSOS Association
The NOA18NUSOS Association, founded in 2008, is dedicated to the study and protection of Mediterranean marine fauna, with a special focus on cetaceans.
At Hotel Bell Repòs, we actively support NOA18NUSOS with donations we raise by selling surplus from our breakfast buffet to fund their research expeditions and conservation activities.
Sterna
The Sterna Nature Group is an association created in 1990 that tirelessly works on the study, dissemination, and protection of nature in the Vall del Ridaura.
At Hotel Bell Repòs, we allocate funds raised through the sale of surplus food via the Too Good To Go app to support Sterna’s projects.
Maria Aubeso – Jeansbag19 Project
The sustainable Jeansbag19project by Maria Aubeso transforms old jeans into unique fashion pieces, promoting the circular economy and sustainability in local fashion.
Hotel Bell Repòs serves as a collection point for old jeans and encourages both guests and the local community to donate their garments.
Additionally, Maria Aubeso offers recycling and creative design workshops where participants learn how to give their jeans a second life, perfectly aligning with our values of sustainability and social responsibility.
Too Good To Go
Since 2016, Too Good To Go has been fighting against food waste, and at Hotel Bell Repòs, we actively collaborate with this initiative to efficiently manage our food surpluses.
The food that is not consumed at our breakfast buffet is made available to Too Good To Go users at a reduced price, helping to reduce waste and offering quality food at affordable prices.
Open Arms
In 2023, we contributed to the Mediterranean project of Open Arms with a small donation, from the proceeds of selling reusable and eco-friendly water bottles from our “Stop Plastic Pollution” project.
Our collaboration with Open Arms reflects our commitment to social justice and the protection of human rights, raising awareness and empathy among our guests and the local community.
Nudum Cosmetics
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have also established a partnership with Nudum Cosmetics. This brand, born in Girona, offers personal care products made with natural and vegan ingredients.
The packaging is biodegradable, helping to avoid waste generation. At Hotel Bell Repòs, you can find Nudum products in our km0 shop.
WaveWear
WaveWear is a local initiative that aims to reduce plastic pollution in our seas. Created in Platja d’Aro, this brand transforms recycled plastics into beach towels and other fashion products. At Hotel Bell Repòs, we support this cause by selling their towels in our store.
In doing so, we not only promote sustainability but also support local entrepreneurs committed to the environment.
BdeGust
Finally, we collaborate with BdeGust, a beer brand committed to sustainability and social responsibility. BdeGust produces organic and vegan beer, and its goal is to employ people at risk of social exclusion.
At Hotel Bell Repòs, we offer BdeGust to our guests as a beverage option that is not only delicious, but also has a positive impact on the community and the environment.
