Sustainable Hotel

As it cannot be otherwise, we like to do our bit to help preserve the environment in which we live and we are aware of the importance of being fully committed to sustainability, for this reason all of our staff carry out these measures:

Free Wifi

No need register needed!

We offer you free WIFI with fiber optics throughout the hotel completely free of charge for you.

If you don't have a computer and need to manage issues such as buying tickets or tickets for shows or printing your boarding pass, our staff at reception will be happy to help you.

24 hour reception

We are at your disposal at our reception 24 hours a day.
Our daytime staff speaks several languages: Catalan, Spanish, French, English, Italian, Arabic, and a little bit of other languages! You can find us from 7 am to 11 pm.
Regarding check-in, for your convenience, you can do it from 2 pm on the day of arrival at any time of the day or night.
For check-out, the departure time is until 12 noon. If you need to leave during the night, from 11 pm to 7 am, please let us know in advance during the day so we can have everything prepared.
At reception we are like a "small tourist office of the Costa Brava"! We have a lot of information and flyers to be able to advise you on places to visit, good restaurants to eat or interesting ideas so that you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest...

We are a family hotel

We want children to have as much fun as they do at home!

Babies up to 2 years old can sleep in their parents' bed for the price of €10 per night, except from June 15th to September 15th, when the rate is €15 per baby and per night.
We have cots for rent so you don't have to carry a load.
The rental price is €10 per cot and per night, except from June 15th to September 15th, when it is €15.

In the dining room we have high chairs and also special plastic tableware in fun colours!
We also put at your disposal permanently a fridge and a microwave so that you can heat the baby food or the bottle at any time of the day or night.

Pet Friendly

We love that you come with your dogs!

But it is necessary that you please accept the regulations for reservations with dogs for the good coexistence of all:

  • We recommend that dogs not be left alone in hotel rooms. Remember that they are in a completely new, unfamiliar environment and it is possible that the anxiety of the change motivates them to bark, cry or break things.
  • In accordance with current legislation, it is preferable that your pets do not enter the restaurant during breakfast. In case you do it isIt is essential that they be on a leash and show good behavior so that they cannot disturb other customers. If the animal barks or becomes upset, it must immediately leave the restaurant so as not to disturb other customers.
  • The client is responsible for any damage caused by the animal in the room or in any area of ​​the hotel.
  • In the event of any accident with another animal or with a person, the owner of the dog will be the most responsible, leaving the hotel exempt from all liability for legal purposes.
  • Whenever dogs circulate through the common areas of the hotel, they must be properly leashed or in the arms of their owner.
  • Your pet is not allowed to relieve itself in the hotel grounds.
  • For hygienic reasons, customers are asked not to let their pets on the beds. The pet cannot be bathed in the bathroom of the rooms nor can the hotel towels be used to dry it.
  • To clean the room every day, the client must inform the reception in the morning when the pet is not in the room.

Conditions for groups Important information!

For us, the good rest of our clients is essential. Our hotel is very quiet, and a relaxed and familiar atmosphere is felt in all spaces. For this reason, reservations for more than 6 people have special conditions that we hope you can understand and accept: upon arrival at the hotel, each person must pay a deposit (€50) which will be returned upon departure if there have been no noise complaints from your rooms or any incidents. Please note that any behavior that does not respect the basic rules of coexistence with other guests will result in the total loss of the deposit.

Parking

Being able to park right in the center of Platja d’Aro is a real luxury.
We have our own parking for our clients, the rate is €10, except from 15/06 to 15/09 when a rate of €15 will be applied. It is important to book in advance.

Charging point for electric vehicles

Are you traveling with an electric vehicle and don't know where to recharge the batteries?
We have a charging point for your electric car in the hotel parking. Ask us about the rates.

We recycle correctly with the aim of not contaminating

We have a recycling protocol to which we are fully committed that allows us to adequately separate all the different fractions of waste. Recycling properly means saving raw materials, energy, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

We use ECOLABEL cleaning products

All our cleaning products are Ecolabel and therefore do not pollute the environment.

Ecolabel products are produced emitting a minimum of CO2 and minimize the impact of traditional chemicals on the environment and on people's health, they contain less toxic substances and are biodegradable.

We eliminate food waste in our breakfast

We have found the solution against food waste in our hotel since all the products that are not eaten that day are donated through the "Too good to go" App so that someone else can use them, in this way we make sure that we do not having to throw away practically nothing

Providers and services Km0

We prioritize the purchase of products and the contracting of services with suppliers that are located in Platja d'Aro or in our region. This action reduces CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and also ensures the quality of our products.

We establish alliances with associations, entities and local companies

We love to collaborate within our community, which is why we establish alliances with local associations. For example, we donate the money obtained from our action against food waste on the Too Good To Go App to Sterna, which is the local naturalist association, so that they can use it for the conservation of our environment.
We collaborate with Caritas by donating products and objects that we no longer need at the hotel and that are in perfect condition and can be useful to other people.

We are committed to the energy efficiency of our hotel

We are working to replace all our lighting with LED systems, which are much more energy-efficient. Also, our contract with the company that supplies our electricity guarantees that it is 100% from completely renewable sources.
We are progressively changing both taps and toilet flushes to make them more efficient in saving water.
And we train our staff who are completely on board with becoming energy efficient and not wasting either energy or water.
