At the Bell Rep\u00f2s Hotel, the sustainable hotel on the Costa Brava<\/strong> and the first in Platja d’Aro to obtain the Biosphere Sustainable certification<\/a>, we are committed to our planet and collaborate with projects that promote social and environmental responsibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here we present some of the sustainable initiatives<\/strong> with which we collaborate:<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 1. We collaborate with the Too Good to Go App: Reducing food waste<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Bell Repos Hotel, as a sustainable hotel on the Costa Brava, actively collaborates with Too Good to Go<\/a> to reduce<\/strong> food waste.<\/p>\n

We take advantage of the surplus from our breakfast buffet and sell it at a modest price to this sustainable company, contributing to the fight against food waste.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 2. We collaborate with the naturalist entity Sterna: Taking care of nature<\/b><\/h3>\n

We also collaborate with Sterna<\/a>, a local naturalist entity in the Vall d’Aro that works tirelessly for the preservation and conservation of our environment.<\/p>\n

They work for the study, dissemination and protection of the nature of the Ridaura Valley,<\/p>\n

At the Bell Repos Hotel<\/strong>, as a sustainable hotel on the Costa Brava, we allocate the funds raised through what we sell at Too Good to Go, to support Sterna projects, thus strengthening our commitment to local biodiversity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 3. We collaborate with NGOs every year: Supporting Humanitarian Causes<\/b><\/h3>\n

Every year we make a donation to an NGO<\/strong> as part of our Stop Plastic Pollution project.<\/a><\/p>\n

This donation comes from the sale of reusable and eco-friendly<\/strong> water bottles that we make at the Bell Repos Hotel, as a sustainable hotel on the Costa Brava. In 2023, we contribute to the Open Arms<\/a> Mediterranean project with a small donation, supporting initiatives that defend human rights and save lives at sea.<\/p>\n

We are proud to collaborate with local suppliers<\/strong> on a daily basis. At the Bell Repos Hotel, as a sustainable hotel on the Costa Brava, we hire local companies for our maintenance and laundry services, to supply our km0 store at the reception and much more.<\/p>\n

We offer local products such as honey from the Ridaura valley, jams from Can Juanals<\/strong>, cork items from the region, ceramics from Bisbal, olive oil, wine and much more, all with the km0 distinctive.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a05. We collaborate with Maria Aubeso’s local project: Transforming Jeans into Sustainable Fashion<\/b><\/h3>\n

Another of the projects where we collaborate from the Bell Repos Hotel, as a sustainable hotel on the Costa Brava, is the sustainable project @Jeansbag19 by Maria Aubeso.<\/a><\/p>\n

The project consists of giving a second life to jeans<\/strong> by transforming them into unique fashion items.<\/p>\n

At the Bell Repos Hotel, we act as a collection point and encourage everyone, both hotel guests and non-hotel guests, to donate their old jeans, thus contributing to the circular economy and promoting sustainability in local fashion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another of the collaborations that we do as a sustainable hotel on the Costa Brava<\/strong> is to participate in the waste cleaning days on the beaches and the seabed organized by the different local diving centers.<\/p>\n

We recognize the importance of preserving marine ecosystems to mitigate climate<\/strong> change and that is why we do our part to help keep the ecosystem clean.<\/p>\n
