{"id":27298,"date":"2023-05-24T22:08:11","date_gmt":"2023-05-24T20:08:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/?p=25771"},"modified":"2024-03-01T15:06:06","modified_gmt":"2024-03-01T14:06:06","slug":"bell_repos_honey_from_ridaura_valley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/en\/bell_repos_honey_from_ridaura_valley\/","title":{"rendered":"Bell Rep\u00f2s and honey from the Ridaura Valley"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>At the Bell Rep\u00f2s, as a sustainable hotel we are committed to local products such as honey from the Ridaura Valley.<\/h2>\n<p>Within the framework of our sustainability philosophy, we are very happy to establish alliances with local suppliers and producers to help in the economic viability of the project and also for its dissemination.<\/p>\n<p>In this case we present our collaboration with Josep M\u00aa Bas and his honey made entirely in the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ca.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ridaura\"> Ridaura Valley.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Few things are as good and healthy as fresh homemade honey from Km.0 and from now on you can buy it at the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\">Hotel Bell Rep\u00f2s in Platja d&#8217;Aro,<\/a><\/strong> a<strong> sustainable hotel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25781\" src=\"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Foto-1-cirerer-d_arboc-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"cirerer_arbo\u00e7\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/h2>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Vall del Ridaura&#8221;<\/strong> honey was born from a personal project by Josep Maria Bas, which began in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Motivated by the interest that Josep has always had in animal-plant interactions and especially in the mutualism of plant pollination, he decides to start with the production and packaging of fresh local honey.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25785\" src=\"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Foto-2-pot-de-mel-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"mel_vall_ridaura\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Vall del Ridaura&#8221; honey is collected in two beehives (apiaries) located in the municipality of<strong> Castell d&#8217;Aro<\/strong> and it is a honey that comes from the nectar that bees collect from many flowers (hence the name milflores honey) in the same valley.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is a natural and raw honey that is packaged directly, without intermediaries, of extreme quality and with a local circuit of <strong>proximity products.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25797\" src=\"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Foto-5-flor-girasol-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is collected mainly at the end of spring and also to a lesser extent in autumn, in two or three different combs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25793 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Foto-4-abellar-300x246.jpg\" alt=\"abellar_ridaura\" width=\"300\" height=\"246\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ca.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Abella_de_la_mel\">The honey bee<\/a> <\/strong>(Apis mellifera) is a colonial species and is one of the many species of insects that participate in something as important as pollination.<\/p>\n<p>As a reserve so that the bees can spend the summer and winter without problems, a good amount of honey is left in the colonies, so that they do not have problems maintaining the colony at a time like the present when we suffer a threatening shortage of honey resources.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25801 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Foto-6-quadre-amb-mel-142x300.jpg\" alt=\"mel_ridaura\" width=\"142\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Finally, the honey is packaged in containers of 1 kg and 500 gr. and you can buy it if you wish at the <strong>Hotel Bell Rep\u00f2s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For our visitors and also for you it can be a sweet gift that will delight the whole family!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25777 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Foto-8-mel-botiga-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"mel_bell_repos\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the Bell Rep\u00f2s, as a sustainable hotel we are committed to local products &#8230;
