Made of coarse sand, it is easy to access.<\/p>\n<p>As all along the way, one of the main attractions is the <strong>rocky bottom of its waters, which make <\/strong>it an ideal place for snorkelling href=\"https:\/\/ca.costabrava.org\/que-fer\/platges\/belladona-111520\">Belladona<\/a><\/u>,<\/strong> on the other hand, with its beautiful name (beautiful woman), relies on its crystal clear waters and small size to create a new, intimate and secluded atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>Cala de la Belladona is the last cove in Playa de Aro and the route continues from here onwards in the municipality of Sant href=\"https:\/\/en.costabrava.org\/what-to-do\/beaches-what-to-do\/cala-de-cap-roig-44319\">Cala de Cap Roig<\/a><\/u><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> is a <\/span>beautiful natural space that owes its name to the reddish rock formation that divides it in two.<\/p>\n<p>It is a fantastic place for snorkellers and divers.\u00a0It has showers, sun loungers for hire and a bar Roig<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2>#4\u00a0 \u00a0Cala Cristus and Ses Torretes<\/h2>\n<p>When we arrived at the place, we first found<strong> <u><a href=\"https:\/\/en.costabrava.org\/what-to-do\/beaches-what-to-do\/cala-cristus-ses-torretes-42197\">Cala <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/ca.costabrava.org\/que-fer\/platges\/cala-cristus-ses-torretes-42197\">Cristus<\/a><\/u><\/strong>, <strong>a coast of fine sand and golden glow with 100 metres of sand on both sides <\/strong>and, hooked to it is Ses Torretes, a cove with similar characteristics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24863\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24863\" style=\"width: 398px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-24863 \" title=\"Cala Cristus, on the cam\u00ed de ronda de Platja d'Aro\" la Roca del Paller i Punta dels canyers<\/h2>\n<p>Continuing along the route, we soon find the <strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/en.costabrava.org\/what-to-do\/beaches-what-to-do\/cala-de-la-roca-del-paller-111515\">cala de la Roca del Paller<\/a><\/u><\/strong> and <strong>Punta dels canyers<\/strong>, which form a continuation creating a single small beach where we find a perfect fusion between the sea of rocks worn by friction and the pine forests that create a magical landscape.<\/p>\n<p>One of our favourite coves, it is so called because it is surrounded by rocks of different sizes that form a kind of haystack that you can reach by swimming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24867\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24867\" style=\"width: 401px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-24867 \" Planes<\/h2>\n<p>The rocky cove of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.costabrava.org\/what-to-do\/beaches-what-to-do\/roques-planes-42211\"><strong>Roques Planes <\/strong><\/a>is one of the most beautiful and peculiar of the route.<\/p>\n<p>The erosion caused by the waves and the passage of time has modelled the rocks to give them their characteristic shape.<\/p>\n<p>This rocky composition of the cove and the proximity of a group of reefs make it highly recommended for snorkelling. It also stands out for being a place where nudism is practised at certain times of the year and which is very positively highlighted by the naturist community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24871\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24871\" style=\"width: 399px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-24871 \" title=\"Cala de les Roques Planes, on the cam\u00ed de ronda de Platja d'Aro\" src=\"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Cala-de-roques-planes-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"Cala de les Roques Planes, on the cam\u00ed de ronda de Platja d'Aro\" width=\"399\" height=\"225\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24871\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cala de les Roques Planes, on the cam\u00ed de ronda de Platja d&#8217;Aro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2>#7 \u00a0Cala dels musclos (Mussel Rock Cove)<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>mussel cove<\/strong> is so called because it is located just in front of the mussel rock and it is so called because of the large number of mussels that breed among its rocky composition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24874\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24874\" style=\"width: 399px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-24874 \" title=\"Cala dels musclos, on the cam\u00ed de ronda de Platja d'Aro\" src=\"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Cala-dels-musclos-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Cala dels musclos, on the cam\u00ed de ronda de Platja d'Aro\" width=\"399\" height=\"299\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24874\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cala dels musclos, on the cam\u00ed de ronda de Platja d&#8217;Aro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2>#8 Cala dels capellans, Rac\u00f3 dels homes and Rac\u00f3 de les dones<\/h2>\n<p>The last three coves before reaching our destination have a curious name: \u201cCala dels Capellans\u201d or Cove of the priests, <u><a href=\"https:\/\/en.costabrava.org\/what-to-do\/beaches-what-to-do\/raco-dels-homes-111519\">Rac\u00f3 dels homes<\/a><\/u><u> or man\u2019s corner<\/u> and Rac\u00f3 de les dones, woman\u2019s corner. All three are very small coves that can be reached by a flight of steps.<\/li>\n<li>This name comes from the strict morals of the past. When religion forbade bathing in the sea between people of different sexes and so that the church could keep the distance between its parishioners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24878\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24878\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-24878 \" title=\"Raco de les dones, on the cam\u00ed de ronda de Platja d'Aro\" src=\"https:\/\/hotelbellrepos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/raco-de-les-dones-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Raco de les dones, on the cam\u00ed de ronda de Platja d'Aro\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24878\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Raco de les dones, on the cam\u00ed de ronda de Platja d&#8217;Aro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2>#9 Torre Valentina Beach<\/h2>\n<p>We reach the end of the route entering the Bay of Palam\u00f3s on Sant Antonid e Calonge&#8217;s side, with the first beach which is the <strong>Platja de <u><a href=\"https:\/\/ca.costabrava.org\/que-fer\/platges\/platja-torre-valentina-42195\">Torre <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/en.costabrava.org\/what-to-do\/beaches-what-to-do\/platja-torre-valentina-42195\">Valentina<\/a><\/u><\/strong>, which owes its name to the 16th century defence tower, which was part of a system of towers that warned the town of Calonge, located 2.50km from the coast, of pirate attacks,&#8230;
